2021 PRE-SEASON INFORMATION

Parent Meeting Aug 9th at 6 pm.

 

Last year, we had a tremendous season – The boys team were Region Champs with a 5th place finish at 4AAAAA State Championship and girls team took 3rd in Region 4-AAAAA with a 25th place finish at 4AAAAA State Championship.  We ran well together and had a team spirit. Let’s work together to make sure next year is even better!

 

  1. General Information for Fall season
    1. Cross Country Dues
      1. High School Dues
        1. Includes $40 Athletic Fee
        2. Includes $120 Cross Country Fee
      2. Middle School Dues
        1. Includes $120 Cross Country Fee
      3. There will be no other dues the for booster club as long as the athlete participates in the fundraisers.

            Fundraisers – 1 invitational – Into the Trail

  1. You will also be expected to participate in fundraisers that we will be working in order to raise money.
  2. Teams will be split into Varsity, JV and Middle School this season
    1. Varsity will consist of the top 7 - 8 runners (and may change from meet to meet depending on individual progress) – JV can move up based on their times in each race.
    2. Middle School- 8th grade can race in the middle school race which is 1.87 miles but also can run in the JV race, this will be up to the coach’s discretion. 7th grade can only run in the Middle School race.

 

  1. First Mandatory Practice is Wednesday, August 4, 2021 (The First Day Of School)

 

  • You must have a physical and release forms on file to participate!

 

  1. You must take care of your bodies – Hydration and proper nutrition is essential to success in athletics. Proper hydration begins the day before physical activity.  BEGIN DRINKING WATER / SPORTS DRINKS ON SUNDAY BEFORE MONDAY’S PRACTICE
